Coaching for founders & product leaders
A co-founder's mindset for your hardest calls.
I coach founders and product leaders through the decisions that don't come with a playbook. I've made these calls, and got plenty wrong before I got them right.

Who I work with
Founders and product leaders in the stretch between what got them here and what the next stage asks for. The IC who's now leading leaders. The founder making calls with no obvious right answer. The product exec who has to decide what not to build, then defend it.
If you're in one of those moments, you don't need another framework. You need someone who's been in the chair to think it through with you.
How it works
Twelve-week blocks. We meet each week, in person or online, and I'm reachable between sessions. We work on the real decisions in front of you, not a generic curriculum. It's coaching, not consulting. I won't do the job for you. I'll help you make the calls only you can make.

Twenty years building products and leading teams, including helping take Culture Amp from an idea to more than a thousand people.
“My coaching sessions with Rod were incredibly valuable, both personally and professionally, as we moved towards a Series A raise. He brings the rare combination of founder experience, investor insight, and a genuine commitment to helping others grow. In our sessions, Rod struck the perfect balance between structure and flexibility, providing just the right amount of challenge to uncover blind spots and sharpen thinking. I'd highly recommend him to any founder or leader navigating growth.”
“Rod has operated across every stage of company building, so whatever situation you bring him, he'll have a framework, a real example of where things have and haven't worked, and the right questions to help you work through your own unique context. A few of the core leadership frameworks I use today came from Rod, and they've been just as empowering for my direct reports as they've been valuable for me. I'd highly recommend him to any founder or leader looking to level up how they're approaching their company or function.”
